I usually enjoy this strip, but I think this one is utter bullshit. First of all, just statistically, hetero people are working with approximately half of 90% of the population as potential romantic/sexual interests. Homo people are working with half of 10%.  There’s also the wonderful hetero privilege where all people are assumed hetero unless they are *obviously* not (which is just heteronormativity dictating that people do not act as their gender is *supposed to* are obviously homo). For homosexuals, we have to go to LGBT specific establishments to find potential interests or rely on our *gaydar* to help us find them. If we make the mistake of expressing interest in someone who is not homo, its usually problem. In some instances, a problem that can invite violence, abuse, or cruelty. The same is not true of the inverse. So sorry Dr. Dad… its NOT just as hard for you.
